Thank you, for RVSP for the certification. Please be on time for the training, as we will start promptly at 3 PM. You will need come to the BOTTOM floor at Campbell Building (not on the ramp to the building.). You must let in the building by the instructor. We will be in 401 Classroom. If you are more than 15 min later you will not be certified. Parking is available in Parking Garage across the Campbell Building with very limited parking at Campbell. Dress is casual (Alpha Casual). Please know your Alphanet ID or Life Membership number and your Chapter Key number.

Description

We will be conducting an IMDP Training Session for Area 1 Chapter this Fall. This is the Final training option for Area 1 for IMDP this year.
  • The IMDP Training session will be held on November 5th, 401 Classroom on the CUICAR Clemson Campus in Greenville, SC. The training session will start at approx. 3 PM and last until approx. 6:30 PM.
These sessions will be for brothers wanting to act as Sponsors, Recommenders, and Intake Management Team members as well as Chapter Officers and will certify those brothers until December 31, 2018.
Be reminded that Alpha chapters must achieve certain IMDP certification levels in order to participate in any IMDP Activities. Note, the following requirements for chapters wanting to participate in the IMDP process.
  • All Chapter Officers must be IMDP certified.
  • All District Officers must be IMDP certified.
  • 50% of Active Chapter members must be IMDP certified.
  • All Sponsors and Recommenders must be IMDP certified.
Training will take ~3-4 hours complete. We will NOT be conducting be a Risk Management Certification at this time. Brothers must be present throughout the training in order to be certified. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Chapter programs include efforts with the March of Dimes, MLK Memorial Project, Boy Scouts of America, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, and many others.

Our mission is to develop leaders, promotes brotherhood and academic excellence, while providing service and advocacy for our communities throughout South Carolina.

Currently, we have fifteen (15) undergraduate chapters located at public and private colleges and universities, and seventeen (17) graduate chapters in most major cities in South Carolina. Annually, the District sponsors a District Conference in the Fall, a District College Brothers Summit in the Spring, and a District Leadership Retreat in the late Summer.
